Disregard my question.

Worked out the problem, I hadn't imported the appropriate javafx.scene, the one for fill method I think is javafx.scene.paint.

Thanks for a great example.

Learnt heaps working through it.

Cheers,

Hi Jasper,

In Main.fx I get an error message "cannot find symbol, symbol: variable Color, location:class javafxapplication1.main.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

I click the JNLP and it trys to display the Frame "Devoxx Video Intro" but the contents is never shown and the app crashes.
Geforce 8800GTS - Driver version 6.14.11.8048.

It's the playing MP3 file which cause problems. If I skip it, the animations is OK. And very nice. Useless to mention the file is played by any player installed on my computer.
For me JavaFX 1.0 is just pre-alpha 0.2. Also take a look here:

After the application frame is shown, no content is displayed and then app. crash.
I have a large output log for this.
I hadn't have this problem with any other JavaFX app. and they were many...
I will try to see what's happening with Netbeans.
