For all of you out there getting bored of the limited fonts available when designing web sites or having to make images for text. I have recently been using sIFR 2.0 a free script that will replace your headlines with a Flash with the font of your choice. There is a sIFR Wiki with a lot more usfull infomation about it. It can cause a bit of fun in the cross browser world but I think the result is well worth it. I am using for all the headings on my company website www.xerto.com.

True Font Family is an alternative to sIFR in order to use TrueType fonts on any website.
It does not need any preparation or conversion of ttf files and it is completely driven by CSS. This means you specifiy everything in your stylesheet using 100% valid CSS. It even supports web fonts with the @font-face rule and works in all major browsers.
It uses dynamic text replacement to replace text nodes with images created by PHP with the GD library which comes standard in PHP 4.3+.
There is a free version for non-commercial use.
