Carl Antaki: Yes we are using JOGL for the editor display shelf and 3D slideshow. I am not sure what happened with full screen crashing your computer, first thing to try is check you have latest graphics card drivers.

Well it works on Linux if you load java 1.6. Well, it starts anyway. There is no on-line help and the interface is not obvious. You need to logon to flickr (my first time so maybe that’s the issue there). Then type your flickr username in the search option. Any public photos you’ve got appear in the search bar on the left hand side. I’ve tried many ways to upload a photo, dragging over the ‘upload’ image, dragging over the whitespace, dragging over the search area. All of them just load the photo as an image into firefox. Environment is ubuntu 7.4, gdesktop, 1.6 java. Is this my problem or am I missing something? Where is the user guide?

OK, I’ve watch the vid. The bit I got wrong was that the upload works only when you double click and select an album on the lhs. That brings up a spinning wheel … loading … that never finishes but then the upload option accepts dropped photos and provides feedback however the photos don’t seem to upload. I guess it’s all beta.
Stuart: I have to admit that we never tried IRIS on Linux. I am glad that it mostly works. The issue with drag and drop upload could be that Linux is passing some different mime type data in the drag operation we should be able to fix that.

Looks pretty cool. When is it going to be available?
Are you using JOGL?

It’s cool but I had to reboot my computer after going full screen (hot reboot) ALT-CTRL-DEL was not working ALT-F4 as well!
