JavaFX Mobile OS
While lead for the applications and blueprints team I was tasked with building a complete suite of phone applications to run on the new JavaFX Mobile port. This included a loading screen, home screen and the usual set of standard applications.
I did the UX and visual design for the applications along with coding several of the applications and leading the team building the rest of the applications.
The home screen was made of tile, each tile is more than an icon, it’s a mini-application showing pertinent information for the application it represents.
The world clock application design was one of my favourites and I have still not seen another like it. It was based around a 3D globe that you could flick with your finger to see your pinned city times.
